As you’re making the rounds of Celebration Stations, stop by the Bellingham Police Station for a donut and bacon!  Chat with the cops about bicycle safety and register your bike in our local theft prevention campaign.

The Hub Pancake Feed

The Hub Community Bike Shop, 110 Ohio Street (behind Wander Brewing)
7:00 am – 10:00 am

Celebrate Bike to Work and School Day at The Hub’s new location, 110 Ohio St.

There’ll be pancakes, coffee, drinks, music, and more.  Drop in before work or school or just take the whole day off!

“Grown-up” Tricycle Races

Bellingham City Hall, 210 Lottie Street
Noon – 1:00 pm

The City of Bellingham hosts hilarious tricycle relay races for the Big Kids in front of City Hall at noon.  You’ll need a team of four racers and a child-sized tricycle. (If you ask nicely, your young friend may let you borrow theirs.)  There will be balloons, giveaways and prizes for winning teams and best costumes.

To register your team complete the registration form and email it to Rhonda Saunders.

Trike Race

Co-op Bike Parade on Holly Street

Co-op Bakery Café Patio, corner of Forest and Holly streets
Gather starting at 4:30 pm – Parade leaves at 5:00 pm

Parade down Holly Street with the Community Food Co-op and all their bicycling friends.  Decorated bikes and costumes are always appreciated, or come just come as you are! Special guest Grand Marshal (to be announced) will lead the parade.  Gather at 4:30 pm for free snacks.  At 5:00, the parade rides to the Bike Party on Bay Street!
